Pricing and licensing to fit your needs

The two legal benefits of a commercial license are:

• You are NOT required to share your source code with the public in any way.

• You can white label CKEditor builds after embedding them in your product or application.

• Exclusive access to the Productivity Pack, containing six Premium features: Table of Contents, Document Outline, Format Painter, Slash Commands, Templates, Paste from Office Enhanced.

• Ability to pick and purchase any other individual Premium features: Real-time Collaboration, Comments, Track Changes, Revision History, Export to PDF, Export to Word, Import from Word, Pagination, CKBox, CKFinder, Spell and Grammar Check and MathType.

If you exceed your agreed usage metrics, simply contact us at sales@cksource.com to talk about upgrading your allowance or customizing your plan.

Except for on-premise versions of Collaboration server, CKBox, Export to PDF, Export to Word and Import from Word, we do not take into account these metrics. Contact us to learn more details.

The Productivity Pack of Premium plugins is available exclusively with a CKEditor commercial license. It is not available to purchase (either in whole or part) separately. If you want to integrate any of the features included in the Productivity Pack, please contact our Sales team for a custom commercial license.

If you have an existing CKEditor commercial license, please contact your Account Manager to check your eligibility for the Productivity Pack.

In the prepaid plans, a specific number of generated PDF or Word documents per month are included and if you exceed this number, our billing system will automatically charge you an additional fee for each extra document. The fee is stated clearly on our pricing page and on your invoices.

The minimum subscription length is 1 year. Similarly, the minimum renewal term of your software license is 1 year. Contact us at sales@cksource.com. if you wish to discuss a longer term arrangement.

For CKEditor Cloud Services offered as SaaS such as CKBox, Export to PDF, Export to Word, and Import from Word, the minimum term is 1 month. You can advise us of your decision to end the subscription at any time – the termination becomes effective at the end of the month when advice was received.

CKEditor Cloud Services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) – an exceptionally secure and stable cloud environment. The data center is located in the East USA.

The CDN used by CKBox and Easy Image is powered by Amazon Cloudfront, offering over 400 edge locations across every continent around the world.

Export to PDF/Word are services that generate PDF/Word files based on the data provided by you, the customer (HTML, CSS). To perform the conversion, the data needs to be sent from the editor or a database, but the services themselves are fully stateless.

Any sensitive data (HTML, CSS, comments) is only used during the processing – it’s then removed from the servers after the document is created, and returned to the user.

All data transmissions between CKEditor / Customer's application and CKEditor Cloud Services infrastructure is encrypted with TLS 1.2+.

If you exceed the monthly transfer limit or the storage limit, an additional invoice may be issued for the overage. Each plan has its own individual rate for the overage. For example, if you’re using the Starter plan and you exceed the monthly bandwidth limit by 10GB and use 5GB of additional storage (55GB in total), you will be charged 10*$0.6 + 5*$0.6 = $9.

It’s calculated based on the average monthly storage used by your account. For example, if you have a Starter plan with a limit of 50GB, store 10GB of files most of the time and have a one day peak usage with over 200GB of files stored, you will still be below the monthly storage limit.
