As announced in 2018, CKEditor 4 reached its End of Life (EOL) in June 2023.

A special edition, CKEditor 4 LTS (Long Term Support), is available under commercial terms (Extended Support Model Package) for anyone looking to extend the coverage of security updates and critical bug fixes. Learn more here or contact us to obtain a commercial license.

CKEditor 4 LTS (Long Term Support, 4.23.0 and above) is available under exclusive terms of the Extended Support Model Package.

CKEditor 4 Open-Source edition (4.22.* and below) is licensed under the terms of any of the following licenses at your choice:
